Reduced Fare Card

Transpo provides public transportation to all citizens, including those with disabilities.

Transpo's fixed route buses are equipped with ramps and are accessible to individuals who use a mobility device or cannot climb stairs. Transpo drivers receive special training to assist those with disabilities.

Transpo offers a discounted fare on fixed route buses for passengers age 65 and over, disabled persons and Medicare card holders. To receive this discount, individuals must show a photo ID indicating age, a Medicare card or Transpo Reduced Fare Card. To apply for a Transpo Reduced Fare Card, please complete the application.

A copy of the application may also be obtained at South Street Station, Transpo Administrative Offices, located at 1401 S. Lafayette Blvd, or by calling 574.233.2131 to request an application by mail.

An eligibility determination will be made and the application will be notified in writing within twenty-one (21) days once the completed application has been received.
