Support Public Transportation - Attend the Public Hearing
A current proposal threatens to cut $158,000 from Transpo’s budget. This funding cut will force Transpo to discontinue our Mishawaka School Tripper service, which provides direct access to John Young Middle School and Mishawaka High School.
Transpo would also be forced to consider a fare increase and/or other service reductions or eliminations.
This proposal doesn't just threaten Transpo: it would also cut funding to local libraries and numerous other valuable government services. All of these organizations need your support. Make your voice heard by calling or writing your council member. You can also attend the upcoming County Council Public Hearing on Tuesday, September 10. It will take place at 6:00 PM, in County-City Building Room 411.
